Edward Stanford was for many years, the main Ordnance Survey agent, and issued numerous catalogues of OS and Geological Survey maps and books. This is a typical example, and introduces a flavour of what was available in 1909. Thus, all the one-inch maps of the Revised New Series are listed, with a note of the new Large Sheet Series, i.e. Third Edition. Details of district maps and details for both Scotland and Ireland are present. Geological maps and memoirs are listed, together with six index diagrams, and full details of the various map mounting services provided by Stanford.
